The simplest ponds which we create are the still water/bare liner ponds. These are in keeping with most people’s perception of a pond as, though the top edge is still made with creativity in mind when done by us, below the water line is still a ‘bare liner’. This style is sometimes chosen as a basic rebuild of an existing pond (where a pump & filter can still be added), but more commonly, as a ‘wildlife pond’. The suitability here being that debris can be allowed to build up on the bottom and used without a pump and filter; guaranteeing maximum safety for Dragonfly nymph, Tadpoles & Newts etc...!
